The Waterside Campus at Northampton is one of the largest developments of its kind in the UK providing state-of-the art- academic facilities for 15,000 students, residential facilities for 1,200 students and leisure facilities that are open to the community.
At the centre of Waterside Campus is the new Learning Hub. A four-storey space which offers a full range of integrated learning environments from silent study to social learning. The Learning Hub is where the bulk of academic teaching takes place.
The Senate Building provides a place for guest lectures, exhibitions and events; it’s also home to the University’s largest Harvard-style lecture theatre.
The Creative Hub is a four-storey building, which brings together creative and science disciplines in flexible learning spaces. It houses specialist teaching spaces such as laboratories and workshops for art, design, print, textiles, graphic communications and illustration, a music vocal booth, audio control room, TV and radio studio, media editing suites, photography facilities and a Mac computer suite.
